Back in May, Tanja Kibogo asked me if I would second shoot a wedding with her. I was on maternity leave and didn’t know how it would work going to another town to photograph for the weekend, but was very tempted to accept the offer. All the first time moms over there will get my anxiety! With the help of my amazing husband and a couple of friends who were visiting us, I left my 6 months old baby and dove into this job… And what a way to start back the wedding season!
Nadine and Robert are artists and decided to get married in a private castle close to Trier. It was a privilege to photograph in such a unique location in Germany. I love details and this was my paradise. We could spend and entire day (or more!) just shooting the gorgeous castle and the rooms full of antiques.
The couple chose the Liebfrauenkirche in Trier to do the ceremony. If you are ever in the area, go visit Trier! It’s a beautiful city and this church is breathtaking! The bride wore a classic and exclusive Dior wedding gown and stopped the town when walked into the church to get married to the love of her life 🙂
Enjoy the photos!
Oh, God! Breathtaking!
